Hey, Ghosties! What a day. As you know by now, Holy Ghosting is celebrating Pride this month with weekly episodes about different aspects of LGBTQ+ and Evangelicalism. This week, we are talking about Coming Out - and bonus: you'll get to hear directly from four listeners about how their entanglements with the church have worked out after they came out. Some folks are still (non-Evangelical) Christians, and others are no longer religious. All of them have something important to share about the challenges of being alienated from one's own sense of self, sexuality, and gender - and what it is like when you still make space for yourself to be all of who you are.

We all want to thank the listeners who took the time and effort to send us their stories. We also want to thank Joy Weber, our spritely right-hand enbie who read one of the stories submitted anonymously by a 41 yr old listener who is still healing her own soul after her very difficult coming out story.

Y'all. Be you. Be strong. Be safe. Be bold. You are not alone - and the more we all peel our layers of oppression away from ourselves, we make it safe for others to do the same. Rock and roll!
